ARE THOSE DOGS REAL?
2009 January 22
Went to the Museo Dolores Olmedo in the Xochimilco part of México City. It is a great museum and it was a most wonderful home: Dolores Olmedo lived there prio to her death on July 26th, 2002 at the age of 93 – a must see place and easy to get to via the Metro. Lots of art and history there.
What I most enjoyed see was the seeing the Xoloitzcuintli dogs (Mexican hairless dog), pictured here. One of the dogs in the picture is not real, but a sculpture.

One of my favourite museums. Although technically, the tren Ligero is not officially part of the Metro system. Or so I once read!
You are technically correct but one does not leave the Metro area to get on the Tren Ligero and I did not want it to sound to difficult to get there. The Tren Ligero was great, my first time.
