A few seasons ago, Chef Anthony Bourdain was in, I think, Hong Kong for his travel/food series, “No Reservations” and one of the odd things he featured was a service offered at an outdoor cafe. For a small fee, a man would clean out your ears with little brushes while you enjoyed your libation. Bordain said that while it was odd to be having one’s ears cleaned in public by a stranger, it actually felt kind of nice.”
