I don’t want to make too much of the plant incident, but the lady’s advice about being careful about who you let into your home is consistent with what I was taught by my Mom. We believe that a person’s home is a sacred space that needs to be carefully guarded. It’s wonderful to be a loving and open person with people you meet, but it is wise to be selective about who you admit into your sacred space – your home.

PinknGreen: Witchcraft – Never said it was, just stating what happened: the facts. AND it was not in the sun and too I have another aloe plant on the roof with direct sunlight, no shade, and it is growing well and now blooming. And that is right, none of the guest went on the roof.

Too much sun is the most common cause of an aloe turning red like that. Witchcraft ? Ha :-)

I’ve never heard of this. I always knew of the curative properties of the plant but didn’t know it could act as a screener too! I think I’ll move mine to the front porch now.
