Jesus Chairez is a writer and photographer originally from Dallas, Texas, now Mexico City based. Chairez is available for speaking engagements (groups and universities in the USA and MEXICO) to discuss his life as a Chic-cano, second generation Mexican American now living in Mexico City. Chairez can provide humorous exposes, and discuss his daily living challenges in Mexico the land that was his grandparents.
Chairez answers the question he gets all the time from his friends in the USA: “Why in the hell would you want to move there, when every one is trying to come here?”

Check out CeciliaAlvarez.com. She is one of my closest friends in Seattle. We worked together for 6 years. Anyway, she has a presentation that she does, and one time it was taped. Supposedly it is on YOUTUBE. But, most importantly for you, if you want to do speaking engagements, get your presentation together and contact the multicultural offices of colleges and big corporations. She gets a lot of work that way, on top of her art and working for the Seattle school district. Her daughter wrote a blurb on her for wikipedia. She is a wonderful woman and inspiration and friend.
